Gluten free granola bars are expensive and can have lots of sugar and preservatives. So after countless trial and error I came up with a recipe that was healthy, simple, and liked by all my kids (no easy task). Even my daughters teenage dance friends like them. These are great for breakfast, as a snack, or in lunches. They are packed with nutrients and low in sugar. The Hemp Hearts add protein, Omegas, vitamins, and fiber. And along with the oats and almond meal they are high in protein. They can be frozen for up to 2 weeks and still taste great. Check out the recipe after the jump.
